The Meikle
You’ll know it from the warm welcome when you arrive – this is a culinary experience the whole family will love.
Yes, the setting is grand and spacious, but the atmosphere is bustling. Booking a table at The Meikle restaurant is also a good excuse to dress up for the evening. Smart casual is the order of the day but you’ll also feel at home dressed a little more formally. It’s your choice.
We should also mention the Meikle Bar – complete with grand piano and outragously comfortable chairs – is the perfect place for an aperitif, digestif – or a tour of Scotland courtesy of our whisky wall.

The Brasserie
Pop in for a spot of pasta and chat at lunchtime. Book a table for a precision-grilled, locally-reared steak in the evening. Or feed your soul with the ultimate all-day Scottish breakfast. It’s a quality Scottish restaurant that caters for everyone.
Of course, if you’re under 12, the Brasserie is where you’ll feast on your favourites at our famous children’s high tea. That means tasty food for you, before heading off to BIG Country while mum and dad do their own thing for dinner.
But don’t get the wrong idea. Lot’s of families choose to have their evening meals together in The Brasserie – it’s the exact opposite of the kind of stuffy, overly-formal restaurant parents and children dread. Then again, that’ll be obvious from the second you walk in.

The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is our family (and dog) friendly spot for lunch, dinner or simply a light snack. You can even nip in for breakfast – ideal if you’re staying in our self catering accommodation at Culcrieff.
Yes, you’ll have spectacular views of our golf course (or the crazy golf if that’s more your thing). But plus fours and plaid are very much optional extras. It’s a restaurant, not a gentleman’s club, so dress codes and club rules have no place amongst the pub lunch classics, beers, wines and ice cream cones.
And yes – your faithful friend is welcome too. In fact, you’ll often see grateful dogs outside lapping from bowls of fresh water – while the rest of the family breathe in the fresh Perthshire air.

The Winter Garden
It’s a grand old room (with a suitably grand name). But the food and drink is refreshingly simple and hearty – just what you’d expect from a quality Scottish restaurant.
In the morning, it’s the perfect sunny spot to soak up the newspapers over a pot of tea. Lunch sees hungry kids fill up on packed lunches, while mum and dad choose from homemade soups, sandwiches and salads.
It’s also a place to take a spot of afternoon tea. It’s also great for stocking up on refreshments after a burl around the ballroom during our legendary Ceilidhs.
The Hub
Whether you’re picking up the kids at BIG Country or refuelling after testing out the sports facilities in Melville Hall, The Hub is a great choice.
There’s plenty of healthy food on offer, like spicy soups, classic Paninis and filled Ciabattas. But amongst the righteous salads and guilt-free smoothies, we’ve managed to find space for an ice cream cart – complete with every topping known to childkind.
Music and sport play a big part in a day at The Hub – you can catch the latest music videos on the big screen, or see the big game in a family-friendly setting. We’re fully licensed too – so you can enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine while you’re soaking up the action.
